Bonny
Doon distills
an exciting array of spirits which include a pear eau de vie, Prunus, an
eau de vie distilled from stone fruit and a grappa called Grappa del Fiasco
distilled from Sangiovese, the great grape of Chianti and Tuscany in Italy.
We know, too, that Bonny Doon is working on some really outstanding, exotic,
small batch "designer gins", etc. When they're available, we'll have them.
Germain-Robin,
which we visited last summer, in our opinion,
produces the finest alambic, cognac-style brandy in the new world, and
perhaps the entire world. We have been told we are one of the largest retailers
of these fine brandies anywhere, and always pride ourselves in maintaining
an inventory of the hard-to-find brandies. Here's an introduction
and history. We also proudly feature our own "Market Brandy," which
comes from our own barrel at the distillery. Check
here for more information on the just released Germain-Robin PV 49
Los Olivos Market Brandy
Mosby
spirits. We have
always had a close connected, and "kindred" relationship with Mosby Winery
over in Buellton. We like Bill and Jeri Mosby a lot, and we like what they
are doing too, and we proudly offer their stunning Grappa di Traminer (made
from estate grown Mosby gewurztraminer grapes), Bill Mosby's stellar Distillato
di Prugne Sellvagie, an eau de vie distilled from wild plums harvested
near the Oregon border in northern California, and Bill's raspberry eau de
vie. Here's a
lot more on this fine producer!
St.
George Spirits: If
Germain-Robin produces the seminal cognac-style brandies in the world,
St. George is the seminal counterpart for the distillation of the finest
fruit eau de vies in the world, notably their pear, kirsch, framboise and
quince.
